Shared SSL working great

Hi everyone

I enabled Shared SSL on my site which brought an Under Construction message on my site till JodoHost support corrected it an hour later. Everything is working great. I can even access my own site by putting https in front of it and dont have to rely on the m****here.biz alias created for me.

My only concern is about the downtime that occurs. Is there any reason for this? Will it be fixed in the near future? I wanted to put some live sites onto shared ssl. Will email get affected during the downtime?

This should be fixed with the next version of hsphere hopefully. What happens is that when shared ssl is enabled, a website alias for port 443 and a ssl alias for port 443 are created together. IIS stops your site because of this conflict. In IIS6, only 1 IP can listen to a SSL port. We need to delete the website alias for 443 manually

https://yourdomain.com will work but it will give you an error saying the host name doesn't match the cert.
