Site's default page

Hi everyone,

I have 2 questions:
1. As I want to change the default page of my website to a different one, I have used the Control Panel to do it. However it works only for http://www.mydomain.com, for http://mydomain.com, the default page is still the default index.html.

2. Currently, only http://www.mydomain.com and http://mydomain.com are valid url for my website, how can I enable something like http://abcd.mydomain.com? Given that they will lead to different directories in the same site.

I'm appreciate your suggestions.

Thank you!

Nguyen

1. I tested this with my account and it works fine either way. Perhaps you have something cached. Try emptying your cache or Temporary Internet Files and try again.

2. You need to create a subdomain. In your control panel, click "Domains" then click the add button beside "Sub Domains". This will create a new directory called "abcd.mydomain.com" with the default web files in it and be accesible on the web as http://abcd.mydomain.com
