Ok, I have a customer w/ intermittent issues of not receiving emails to her domain. We have a zen-cart installation - small business so she needs the cc's processed offline - zen cart sends an order notification and then a second email w/ the middle digits of the cc - so you put both emails together and have a complete cc to process. She's periodically not receiving the second email - she is periodically not receiving the notice from paypal that a payment was completed.
Is there any other option that I can look into that gets around SMTP issues?
Zen cart gives me the following email choices:
PHP
sendmail
sendmail-f
smtp
smtpauth
Qmail
I selected smtp - would smtpauth work better?
SMTPAUTH should only be used if your server requires SMTP authorization to send messages. You must also configure your SMTPAUTH settings in the appropriate fields in this admin section.
And, one other issue is that she prefers to have her [email protected] forwarded to her personal email address. But, she is also not seeing the messages on the webmail for the domain she hosts with me.
Can I just say I hate dealing w/ email issues!
