Spam postings increasing?

I've noticed several spam posts lately, where previously I never saw any.. perhaps time to change the forum registration Turing test or something?

I do change up the test regularly, it is just that it is real people being paid to post, so the tests can be gotten past easily

btw this forum was on moderated threads because it was slammed so hard at one point by spammers. And I just noticed the thread...oops!

Jeez, some people will do anything to work from home.

Here's an idea, considering they're probably not too bright. How about Turing questions like:
"What is the next whole number greater than pi?"
"How many AU's is the Earth from the Sun"
"What number did the volume go up to in Spinal Tap?"

That'll fix em.

That last one could possibly set some google trends on some days.
