Trying to understand SPF. If we turn this on for a domain does that mean that only email using our own outgoing server will get sent, ie if we used our ISP's outgoing server it would get bounced?

What are the basics for settign SPF up? We use the outgoing server hosted by Jodohost so jsut wonder how bets to set this up.
 
Through SPF record incoming mail server checks for the permitted servers which can send mails for your domain. You must include all the servers, which may be your web serve, ISP server or mail server, that are sending mails for your domain, otherwise your mails will be bounced.
