SQL Management Studio?

I tried to install SQL Management Studio 2008 Express .. however, it requires Windows Installer 4.5 or higher ...

So .. I download that from microsoft and try to run it ... However, it errors out stating that Cryptographic service is not running on the server, make sure it is ..

I check the services and lo and behold .. Cryptographic Service is running ....

so now I am at a lost ...

Have anybody found out a way to install the studio on the winVPS?

Make sure the printer spooler is running.

Thanks for the info It is running, same cryptographic error.

Has some good information, but none to be used on the VPS (either settings were already done, or the steps didnt fix the problem).
