SQL Server Enterprise Manager problem

Hi,

Everything is working so far, but connecting to manage my database using SQL Server Enterprise manager is terribly slow in expanding the list of all databases.

This used to be the case for my old host, to a certain extend, but it's much worse here because there are just more databases. The wait time is somewhere between 1 and 2 minutes, so I was wondering if there is a way to browse to the database I need without expanding the list at all, because I'm really not interested in all those other databases

EM runs like crap on anything newer then ME including 2000. It takes a long time to download all the database details. What do you need to do to a database? You could install a web based MSSQL manager that is quick. However there are somethings you can only do with EM.
