I haven't a clue. I'm guessing it is derived from the native country?

Jodo in Jananese means Land of Pure. In local language here Jodo means "Add". Jodo in Buddhism means salvation through following certain way of life.

Hello Atul,

First of all I want to felicitate you for having a great service in Jodohost. I'm completely happy here.

Well, I read what you posted in the thread Ravi pointed here. it's very interesting all the meanings the word "Jodo" has. Nevertheless, I come from a spanish-speaking country and I assure that all these positive meanings have their exception. As your spanish client told you, the word "Jodo" in some of our countries means somethink like "I do frauds"...yes, in fisrt person 8) ...So I didn't like this name at first sight. This doubt finished when I did many research about your company in the internet..so the resuts exeeded the meaning of the name:O

jeje I think it's not a good idea for spanish-speaking market.

Interesting how so many different languages have so many meanings.

In english, it means nothing at all, at least not that I have ever heard.

I hate mention, but Jodo in spanish is a verb that means something like **** or irritate to another person....
you can found in spanish dictionary as its infinitive 'joder'
Trully nothing so far from jodohost!!

keep your great work, apart from the spanish translation ;) !!
