VPS updating...

Can someone clarify who is supposed to be keeping the OS patched on the Windows VPS? My server is showing it's missing 33 CRITICAL OS updates.

If you do windows updates yourself you will screw up your VPS. Let Stephen and the rest of the VPS team handle the updates, so things will run smoothly.

This was also mentioned in your welcome email when you purchased your vps.

Actually there are only 6 updates showing on the server that won't mess things up

The others still awaiting Parallels approval and SUS updates

We will probably work on some VPS reboots next weekend even for the servers just needing a handful of updates as well. Can't wait on them forever to release the full slate of patches.
