Web Based IMAP Login

I'm trying to setup SugarCRM to connect to my email using IMAP. When I do this I get a username/password error, however I change the settings to POP3 and everything works fine. Is there a setting that I am missing that uses a different password for IMAP?
 
Very odd, I have no answer for it, it is actually giving username and password error, not an unable to connect error? I coudl think it may be firewall if it was a timeout on imap port, but not for an authentication error.
 
Would it be a firewall issue? Is communication server to server or does it include the client in there as well.
 
Please give us details of your account (domain which you are having problem with) in a ticket so that we can look in to this.
