What to do behind a nat router?

Do your admins or that security company you hired know what I need to do to enable my software to connect from behind the nat router?

after all my reading it sounds like I just need to open up certain ports..but what ports? not sure if that is all that is needed.
 
Not really. None of has worked with NAT. However, we will be contacting that security company to find out how.
