The problem is resolved and this server will not go down now.
 
looks like its down again guys, both my sites are down, its been intermittant for the past 4 days, anyone else been having probs?
 
Yes its gone down again. There seems to be some serious hardware problems

We are working to solve this permanently. I'll update you in 15min
 
We've been working with these servers for so long now.. never faced these many hardware problems

Thanks Yash. I hope this time it is permanent.

My monitoring stats show 99.1% up time for the month of Jan. We're not starting Feb off very well. I hope the rest of the month goes better.
 
If our uptime falls below 99.5%, you can ask for compensation. Read our SLA

The server is back up
 
We did a regular restart but it didn't come back. It looks like a BIOS setting was wrong, it was hung on a floppy drive error. The BIOS has been set properly now and it should not happen again. It was because we had changed the motherboard
