note to jonyah, this has been fixed in Patch 3 of Hsphere but as we dont upgrade straight away for obvious problems that can occur. thats what helps keep the servers up and less hassle and errors. best way to be :D

jodohost is a good host to be a reseller from. ive been in the internet/design business for many many years, and decided that its time to go proffessional. so i have the design company and mainly use the reseller package to host them, but i thought why not open it out to the internet also...

back ups are taken every 24 - 48 hours, and if you want to restore you need to send the .bak into your ftop space and ask jodohost to restore that back up onto the server. you aren't able ot do so manually yourself.

are you tring to add the dmain within a service account or other Control panel, you dont addd it in the reseller admin account. the only ones in that account are for dns server aliases etc

you need to set the nameservers at godaddy to point to hsphere/ these servers then within a control panel use the add domain feature to add a domain into the sysstem, then when propergated it will be ok.

is the id a number, i belive you can have a int or big int field for that. i have used nvarchar also as a ID field. ive not used that field type,

yes you can ignore as it acts as a Autonumber in Access. you can use int or bigint for the type. what error do you get in EM, is it a error says fields may be changed or un read able, if so i think its ok to continue

the unique ID is the identity field. after its been upsized/imported go into design view and change the identiy field (bottom section), to yes no duplicates then increment by 1 and start at x x = Plus one to existing.

slightly off topic but in Hsphere at jodo level or at ours is there a method that makes the Domains syb folders (complete file sctructre) so its read only by default on new domains/sub domains, and new folders made within that folder. i ask because the number of people that leave them...

thats correct on the free version of jmail you aren't able to use the pop3 feature as its disabled. try aspmail or something simular aspEmail maybe, it has a pop 3 access and also attachments.
