Cluster1 Hsphere Upgrade Detailed Notes

mysql6,web10 updated. web8 update in progress.
Please note any mysql update posted here is just some hsphere packages update and not the actual MySQL being upgraded.
 
VPS1 is being rebooted as some suspended/infected VPSes were booted up while they shouldn't have been.
 
All Linux servers updated at this moment. Now we are going to work on bringing control panel up and resolve the problems this updater seems to have created.
Windows/MS-SQL will be updated in a planned way and updates will follow in this same thread.
 
SiteStudio updates applied as well. Control panel seems to need lot of fixes. We will be trying to get it up as soon as possible.
 
We had to restart webservice on all Linux webservers, due to a mod_security configuration issue.
 
Forgot to mention VPS1 came up some time after I posted about the reboot.
It will need another reboot that we will plan and post.
Control panel is up now, however you can't control any Windows account or MS-SQL DB at the moment.
 
win26 is online so you can now add new accounts to windows servers, don't forget to subit new server aliases, we will be mass mailing this within the next 48 hours, we somewhat rushed it in due to win25 not getting upgraded last night.

We are starting the win25 upgrade in the next 15 minutes, there will be IIS outages during this time.
 
Win25 Hsphere update is happening in the next 5 minutes, I can't give you an exact time or valid estimate of how long IIS may be down as this is the first production server being updated.

After win25 will be win2.
 
IIS is staying up during the update but permissions are being changed in the process, there will be some outage however at the end of the process.
 
We are going to go ahead and start the win2 upgrade as well, if we do not start it we will be doing this for the next 4 days time

win2 will be rebooted in the next 15 minutes and then upgrades will start on it.
 
Win2 started and win25 both are still running on the upgrade process, will let these finish before starting on win6
 
I wish thee was some general idea of what point these upgrades are at now, but its totally random, however it is going well and no problems on either win2 or win25 to this point, sites are up running the new schema with little to no problem to this point.
 
Win25 is completed, we will be moving to win6 within the next 30 minutes or sooner.
 
Win6 and Win2 are still updating, Win7 is starting now, of note is that sites on win2 and win6 are still up at this point, there is only a brief outage at the start and finish of the updates, about 10 minutes in total.
