A few mails servers are on blacklists

My client is complaining that 173.0.129.101 is being blocked. I checked it here: http://psbl.surriel.com/listing?ip=173.0.129.101

    Moving Website in Stages

I came to the same conclusion after learning a bit more about the format of the different records. If I keep all of the default DNS for the new host and point the MX record to the old host, it should work. We'll see how it goes. Thanks, Stephen.

    Moving Website in Stages

This is a non-JodoHost scenario, but maybe someone has some insight on the issue. We are about to move from a .NET website on Windows to a WordPress site using LAMP hosting. We opened a Linux account with a new hosting service and are ready to move the WWW website. The issue is that, due to...

    About mail server migration

Ditto to everything that JoeS and Fortress have said. I was on a Live Chat earlier this morning, but quit after the rep stopped communicating for 45 minutes. Still no email coming in even though I sent myself at least a half-dozen messages from accounts not connected with JodoHost. Internal...

    About mail server migration

I'm still not seeing any mail coming in. Not through my email client (Evolution on Ubuntu) or through my Droid, or through webmail.

    About mail server migration

While I can now log in via the email client, I'm seeing a couple of other issues: There does not seem to be any new email getting to the email servers (at least, none that we are able to see) The first attempt to get into Horde via the control panel fails on a login error, which should never...

    About mail server migration

I just now was able to download email through my client, so I guess there's progress being made.

    About mail server migration

Any updates on this? I've had a ticket open for nearly an hour with no updates, and I've been on hold with Live Chat for nearly 40 minutes.

    Setting up third-party email

I finally got to work with the Exchange vendor to make certain they have all of the email addresses set up. I then deleted them from the client's control panel and all seems well... ...at least until I try to send them an email from my account, also hosted on JodhHost. I just get an error that...

    Setting up third-party email

As I expected. I've told the customer to make certain the Exchange folks have all of the email addresses set up on their side so I can delete them all on my side. Thanks for the confirmation, Stephen.

    Setting up third-party email

I had a thought - the "info" forwarding address must also be on the Exchange server, correct? There's no way it can work until the Exchange guys set up the forwarding address. Until that time, since all traffic is coming to me first, if I have an email address set up on my server that will pick...

    Setting up third-party email

I have a customer who is moving their email to a third-party Exchange hosting service. I have set up a custom A record that points to the new host IP address, and custom MX records pointing to the new host SMTP servers. The problem is that the customer has a generic email address that simply...
