By this the identity of a reseller is very easily reveled. I request you to please make the domain - m****here.biz completely Anonymous. Put in some proxy contact info and remove phone/fax no. etc and put an email which is only for reading emails and does not get replied to.
Believe me this will take you very far in reseller hosting business.
There is absolutely no mention of JodoHost in that whois details.
Additionally, your customers will never see any m****here.biz domain unless they use our shared SSL cert. Yes, if the customer is smart, knows what to look for, no one can prevent him from discovering your service provider. But that doesn’t necessarily make you a reseller.

Well there are many whois services which actually tell you a lot more than an ordinary customer should know e.g whois.sc / dnsreport / power whois by directi etc. My point is only that if you make m****here.biz anon then it will make it almost impossible to trace the parent company for end customers. I have 3 more reseller accounts with other companies and all have already implemented this. This is actually very good for long run and helps resellers a lot.

Well on another note, i really like the response time of the staff here. It feels very lively to be responded in 5 - 10 minuets, gives a very personalized feeling. I have to be honest, i am hosting with an India company after almost 5 years now. I was really having second thoughts while signing up. A lot of people spoke very high of you on WHT and i guess (and hope) that they are right
GoDaddy has privacy options that will hide everything from a Whois search for $9.95 a year. Might be good for resellers who claim to be local to a certain country or city.
what i did to hide the m****here.biz address even at the dns level was to set the domain (at the registrar) to have its own NS servers, that is NS1.[MYDOMAIN].COM, NS2. etc etc… and all the domains i register to link to jodohost can then use the NS1.MYDOMAIN.COM nameservers instead of hte default jodohost ones. it’s kind of a strange redundant name loop but it works, my domains are virtually untraceable to jodohost EXCEPT for the email headers, which would almost be impossible to change (that would be spoofing).
The thing would be that your registrar support creating NS records for your domain.. GoDaddy allows this easily for free from their domain manager.
I forgot to mention that you have to make the appropriate changes to your server aliases in your administrative control panel to reflect those NS addresses
in the administrative panel, under E. Manager, Server Aliases, it shows all of the aliases you can have based on your service domain. In there, you can change them, as well as see the actual addresses/ip numbers for the servers.
The first two items will generally be the NS servers, you take those IP addresses, and use them at your Registrar to create the name servers for your domain name, of course, your domain prefixes have to match in the control panel as well as your registrar. defaults are NS1.DOMAIN.COM and NS2.DOMAIN.COM .
Then you can even set the the nameservers for the domain you’re hosting your service account as well as all your other hosted domains to the name servers you’ve just created.
Well thanx for ur suggestion but i have already done that and its not the solution. If you trace the domain then it would revel mhere.biz which points to jodo Delhi office, even the phone numbers are of jodo. Anybody who calls up that office will find out that its jodo office and moreover the address is very easy to trace back to jodo. That is the reason why i am suggesting to make mhere.biz anon, it will eliminate the problem of tracing back, completely.

I registered my domain at namecheap, so when i set up my jodo reseller, i get a mydomain.com nameservers dont i? So now i point my domain to these nameservers. So, how does that trace back to jodo?
like i said, i’ve tried every way to trace my domains back to m****here.biz, and so far i’ve succeeded in using the tools provided to mask the host domain. I’ve noticed that Jodo tries their best to use IP addresses where it’s not possible to guess your service domain. The only flaw i’ve found aside from just TELLING people the mysphere.biz address is in email headers, where if someone is THAT nosey, they can see it. but most people dont even know what email headers are.
In any case, the fact that the domain is traceable to jodohost is a minimal problem if you’re being competitive in your reselling, otherwise people that pay a larger amount dont care about small details like that as long as they get good service, and with all the perks and service i’ve faced, i’d say my clients are for the most part in good hands.
check it out… tell me if you can trace my reseller domain back to jodo - WITHOUT getting into ARIN and all that foolishness (anyone who’s doing that much research has TOO much time on their hands)

enter my domain EDITED and see the information it gives you. as a matter of fact on this one, it gives the technical contact for jodohost’s miami server farm.
i think acceleratebiz.com is the address for the company that physically manages jodohost’s servers in Miami. I’m not sure, but like Punjabi, when i first signed up, i did all of this research to make sure i wasnt traceable back to jodo, and i think it worked pretty well.
