Mail 1 is down again, while on the phone with customer…
Please see the notice of maintenance the RAID failure is making it slow.
However, I am able to login and just downloaded 9 email.
Manish said webmail will only work with http://hspheremail.info/ or http://64.187.103.185 , till later. So thats why POP3 is working.
I was on the phone with client and he uses Horde and he tryed to get their through control panel and Horde Login Page with failure. So thats why the error he was getting.

Major router down in dallas and I can’t get to half the internet, I am basically stuck at jodohost and google as the only working pages 
But I did get on a server (that I can reach) and go to webhostingtalk to see if reports of this and there are not 
Yep, just seems when something is being worked on, all clients decide to lets logon and do some work.. Never fails… :rolleyes:

Oh wow, im not having problems here on my end. I probably go the same route as you I would think, but maybe not if it depends on the ISP provider…

Any idea on how long it will be until POP3 is up? Lotsa, lotsa,lotsa,lotsa, lotsa,lotsa, lotsa,lotsa, lotsa,lotsa, lotsa,lotsa,lotsa,lotsa,lotsa (one per minute for the last two hours) calls all day, as this unfortunately happened at noon on Friday here…

Mail queues are down RAID is still rebuilding but Deepak will be enabling POP very soon. He will reply here or on status forums after doing so.

IMAP is up and running you can use IMAP client for http://hspheremail.info to access it.
We will be enabling pop in next 1 hr but we may turn it off if it increaes load more than expected and causes slowness in raid rebuild.

Its been rough here to all night/morning with E-mails from clients. Do people sleep 8). I got no work done tonight.
I sent out a warning eariler to everyone on this server, but some of the E-mails addresses were on mail1 and I don’t think people got them. I will have to tell them to use a 3rd party E-mail in case of future issues.
But hey servers/drives fail, it’s no ones fault, Jodo did great getting it back up and espically with no data lost.

To bad the drive didn’t fail on Saturday when everyone was out for the holiday!

Stephen is almost prescient with the speed of his replies. His posts here at least let me know what was up so I could spread the word to my customers.

No doubt, man. 12PM on a Friday after a huge regional conference before a three-day weekend at the end of the quarter was the absolute worst possible time for this to happen. It’s too bad that it couldn’t have been delayed a bit. Ah well, back to turning my grey matter into vegetable matter over at google videos…
Is Mail1 still rebuilding itself? What is the status on the rebuild. I have a client that says its still taking a very long time to get mail like yesterday. I told her becasue everyone is trying to pull mail off the server at one time because of the failure.
