Micosoft Exchange

you have shared space exactly right

How do i access public folder?

in outlook it has the calendar etc on the panel on the side, also on web version is has this.

I know but how do all her employeess see the same calender?

looks like the public store is not working on the OWA for this domain and I am checking it

I was told psoft has to be contacted, can someone/anyone verify this will work or has in the pass, she made it clear she needs public access.

I can’t charge them till I know for sure and the charges on my end is going to start adding up.

If we think this will work without having to wait for a CP upgradde I will tell them we are fixing it, if not ill have to delete whole plan they will have to go elsewhere.

no it is not about a cp upgrade

just the means they use for accessing it via web varies by impmentation, and all the means I tried didn’t work.

all the features other than this are working, i went through it extensively

so what do i tell client this option won’t work or we are fixing it?

Outlook they could just use on there computer and not pay the 12.95/mo, this is why they want exchange for public access to share files though out office.

understand, outlook is made to work with exchange however, and it has public folders in it that work fine

just the web GUi is not showing it.

outlook works BEST with exchange and has all the shared features.
web version of it, also supports these shared features, but the means to access it in the method hsphre uses i am checking to find

 1. So your telling me OUTLOOK installed on the desktop will allow public options thoughout the office so everyone can share the same calenders and functions??

 2. You siad the other day we can send them outlook is this still true?

Let me know when statis on the web GUI public if you had any luck also.

I will work on getting an outlook package uploaded today.

outlookon desktop uses shared yes, it is designed to do this first, the functions on pop3/imap are secondary

Will outlook 2003 work with exchange or it has to be 2007 outlook?

2003 or 2007 are fine, the this excange 2003 server

let me know when the disc is ready for download!

grrrrr…I am not a happy “camper” right now, Psoft jsut sent this in rpely to our question about online outlook web access public store AND the anonimity breech…

There were some changes in our plans.
Sorry, but unfortunately in the nearest future we are not planning to review the current MSExchange implementation.

I am going to post this to the community today and try to get some action, I do not find this acceptable.

WHATTTTTTTTTTTT. OMG wht is up with that. so what do i now tell my customer? They paid me 3 months for this service.

So we sign people up and months later tell our coustomers we no longer have this sevice, theres going to be some pissed off clients after working to set things up and have to start over.

What is wrong with them people!

Your not a happy camper, be glad your not sitting in my office (I almost broke a window), im not happy either, damn fools with that responds they gave you!

After all the time yesterday 3 hours working with my client and you guys getting this setup!

For good news, I have tested and have public store working well with outlook 2007, I can’t find the stand alone version of outlook 2003 to make it available for you :frowning:

however 2007 is available and I will be going to the DC in about 20 min. I plan to uplad it from the LAN there it will only take a few moments, from here in the office it will take many hours.

Also once it is made on the outlook 2007(or even 2003) it is available on the web as well after logging in.

They have 2003 thats not a problem.

Do you think psoft is going to delete exchange?? this is crazy!

no no, they aren’t goign to delete. Wht they meant in that reply is that their commitment we were given the prior reply to fix the reseller anonimity bug, was NOT correct and they cna not get t into 3.1

Ok you scared me when you said

nearest future we are not planning to review
, thought they gave up.
