One of your ticket has been replied, please check and try to access SQL server as according and if you still have any issue, we would like to know
the ticket no, any which you have submitted.
I did check and didn’t reply. which date you replied to and what subject? and I did try connecting using SQL Manager for SQL Server and it was not working. I really suffer since last year. I am not able to connect the SQL Server to build a new database. I am a bit bitter. I did not understand why you have to change old ones that was working fine.

these are the some lines from already posted one thread.
we’ve got a setup on alternative ports on a special server that will give you access to the SQL server remote for management purposes.
on SQL Management studio you need to put in the IP address with a , then the port number.
All SQL Servers will be on the same IP address externally now, and only the port will differ.
For the time being the list goes like this:
CL1:
MSSQL1 173.0.136.201,5201
MSSQL4 173.0.136.201,5204
MSSQL8 173.0.136.201,5208
MSSQL10 173.0.136.201.5210
MSSQL12 173.0.136.201,5212
MSSQL11 173.0.136.201,5211
MSSQL13 173.0.136.201,5213
CL2:
mssql1 mssqlmgr.go hsphere.com 5001
mssql2 mssqlmgr.go hsphere.com 5002
mssql3 mssqlmgr.go hsphere.com 5003
mssql4 mssqlmgr.go hsphere.com 5004
Steven has said the same thing. Okay, let me ask you one question. What I should put on for Sql Server? should i put mssqlmgr.go? or mssqlmgr.gohspere.com5002?
Hi, I did put mssqlmgr.gohshere.com and …com5002 for SQL server name, I got the error message as follows: Named Pipes Provider: could not open a connection to SQL Server[53]
James
Yes, if using Cl-2 MSSQL 2 then use mssqlmgr.gohspere.com,5002 .
You are missing , before port no.
I am so confused. My SQL Server Mananger called SQL Manager for SQL Server created by EMS Database Management Solutions
To register database, I get server name and options are window authentication and Sql Server authentication. If select SQL Server, it opens User name and password.
then I got dattabase name I put for jadeyem_riadeaf and database alia, I put none for then I got a message
"Can’t obtainn database list from the server,. TCP ProviderL the Requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found
which I put which for? on SQL manager has server name, database name and login and password.
What we need two lists for?
James
Ashwani Yadav, Please let me know if you are able to solve the problem with SQL Manager EMS hooks up with MS SQL Server. I gave you all the details. I need help. It is not fair that I paid for it and not able to use it efficiently. Thanks
James
I checked and found your database is on MSSQL 3 server, so details that you need to use would be mssqlmgr.g********.com,5003.
Please use mssqlmgr.g********.com,5003 in server name while registering
database.
Okay, Thanks and much improvement. but the problems still resisted due to the error message saying Login Failed for user ‘jadeyem_riadeaf’ I went to update the password with new password. then it came the same result. May I ask why can’t you make SQL Server point to Mssql.deafbyte.org? and what is the password for database login: jadeyem_riadeaf? Thanks in advance patiently James
Kindly reset password from Hsphere control panel for the database and check again and we do not have password for database as this DB belong to you.
Okay. It did not work either,. I did put jadeyemi63 and password for panel control and it doesnt work. then I put jadeyem_riadeaf as db name and password for the panel control, it still not work. Please can you return the database to old server at once. please??? James
