Re: Sending Mail to Bellsouth.net - Rejected
Bro,
No you can’t do that, and bell south does not block us now, as it is some new IPs, so it is not an issue with customers not getting mail.
AOL, we are on the non rate limited whitelist “waiting list”

Re: Sending Mail to Bellsouth.net - Rejected
I appreciate you guys do extremely well in this situation compared to most shared webspace hosts I’ve experienced. (I haven’t had any rejected mail today, in fact. Fingers crossed…).
Everything is relative, of course. I’m talking about no more than half-a-dozen rejections a day for the last few days, which has been almost unknown over the last year or more on JH. It won’t sound like a lot to many people, but my two largest clients aren’t happy at all. They expect their websites, and their website mail, to work perfectly, 100%. These aren’t just hosting clients, either. They’re ‘everything’ clients. If I lose hosting, I could also lose website design, maintenance, admin, database updates, lots of stuff not even associated with the website… but above all, credibility. These two clients comprise 2/3rds of my income, so it’s not like I can tell them to grow up and stop blubbing just cos they didn’t get a couple of stupid mails delivered (f**k, I wish
)
So what are my options? I would be extremely reluctant to try to move to another host, but are there third party mail forwarders who make it their business never to get blocked or abused by spammers that I could use? Is there a different way to do this?
Re: Sending Mail to Bellsouth.net - Rejected
Bro, we are working to get AOL to unlist the IPs that they have rate-limited..
This seems like a new AOL policy that has caught us unaware.. Otherwise we do monitor blacklists and the such and ensure our mail servers are off it..
Re: Sending Mail to Bellsouth.net - Rejected
I have moved this to the Mail Server issues forum. The bellsouth issue is resolved and some visitors are not taking the time to read the entire thread to find out it has been resolved.
For the AOL issue, please use this thread:

A client is still having issues sending to bellsouth. He has a CDOSYS script with auth and it doesn’t get delivered (I replaced the to address to some other domain and it worked).
can you tell us which mail server the mail is being sent through? We have received no new reports
I just tested sending mail through the 3 mail servers, sending mail to my bellsouth email account, and had no problems. Script issue?
Update:
Same script used to send to bellshouth, comcast and yahoo.
The only one which worked was yahoo.
Server: mail4
