Must have been a pool recycle, I saw nothing abnormal on the serve, thos are in the same pool now, so both at the same time would make sense.
Can I ask, under what conditions does a pool reset?
We had that Win2 problem the other day, caused by high mem usage etc., which I would have thought would trigger a pool recycle automatically or something before it became a problem?
So do the pools reset themselves when mem/cpu allocations are compromised, or is it simply a scheduled thing that happens on a regular basis?
Hopefully it’s NOT scheduled, I don’t like the idea of losing application state every day…?

It is based on ram usage, and once a day(which I have at staged times, not all at once)
However the ram usage method sometimes does not trigger and the pool will continue to grow, that happened on win2.
Thanks Stephen. So to clarify, does that mean that all apps will lose their application/session state once per day? One of the reasons I came to Jodo from my previous host was no nightly server reboots.. but this sounds like the same situation (from the apps point of view).
The problem is a “nightly” pool recycle means in the middle of a busy day for us here.

If that is an issue you can use something like the state server, however asp.net does a pretty good job of transferring state from what I have seen, asp is not so good at it.
You would be hard pressed to even have a dedicated windows server stay more than 30 hours or so with a pool without recycling. Windows forces a recycle at 29 hours 
even on a dedicated server.

Sites not responsing again today for short periods at a time.
The pool recycled 6 min ago, I can see the process runtime is 6 min, it is already back up and running, and has been for some time now.
Sites extremely slow and unresponsive at times this morning on Win13.
More sporadic outages again today. Just had one a minute ago. I assume these are pool recycles but is there anyway to reduce them as they seem to happen alot,

They were happening only once every 7-8 hours for your domains, but I have noticed in about the last week they are happening every 2/2.5 We made no change server side, it has been configured the same, however there was a RAM limit(very high like 350MB for 1 site, and 450MB for the few sites+subdomains pool) on the pool, I will go check logs to see if that is being triggered, but in reality it should not be.
More minor delays and sluggish response yet again today.

Thats wiered my sites on win13 all respond as I would expect.
All my others are fine except this one, its totally dead.
Got on live chat and got it fixed.
Some site had high memory usage apparently so needed to recycle pool.
Could we please get all our sites put in their own pool? We have asked for this before and were told it could be done but it seems some are still in other pools. Can’t depend on sites that are down like this :rolleyes:
Schooner, ALL yours sites are in 3 pools, just with your sites in them. The only thing that could cause yours sites to have issues is something in your sites. It could be a rouge module, it could be something bigger.
I find that hard to believe since they are all just running standard DNN3 but who knows. I asked the person on live chat today what sites were in the pool that had issues and he said there were lots so too many to name so that was of no help to us. But from what you said there couldn’t be more than a few.
The sites seem extremely slow loading again now, performance is really poor today. Are there other issues with the server?
If this continues we may have to look at moving to our own dedicated server on another host as we have not had a stable site on this server since we started. Sites on another server are fine but Win13 has never worked properly for us. ?(
