I have replied your PM, your site loaded instantly for me, I did give you a message about having blocked some IPs that were making some rapid fire requests, reply back if still an issue.
I think this server need to put to [COLOR=“Red”]retirement, i have a web site hosted on it and it is down more than once a day. My other site is on another server and it loads fine.
Submitted numerous tickets and the last one was a few days ago
[JH #DRW-69665-110] but all i have getting it is working now but no permanent solution. I need a permanent solution Yash please advice on how this problem can be fixed, i am open for any suggestion as long as it will not screw up my search engine/ranking.
As i am writing this i am getting this error
CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.
That is the funny thing, my site does not respond for a while and as soon as i open a ticket it comes back up, it is like there is a switch some turns on/off.
I am not an expert on servers by any means, but this seems to me that some site have less processor priority than others and there is a load on the server those sites just does not respond or time out, is there any validity to this point? if so how to get these site to respond quicker without moving them on the server even if i have to pay more money?
I hope this matter get solved, i have been with jodo host close to 4 years, the only thing i have bad experience with is the server uptime as of late.
I have noticed the same behavior. I have a running thread in a ticket, where I send a message stating the server is unreachable and all I receive in a reply is a message stating the site is working again.
I have to probe further to find out the cause and the last time it went down around 3 pm, it was because a site was creating many php processes. Can Jodo not put limits on these so other sites are not affected?
I’m using a third party monitoring tool (pingdom.com) to watch a site on this server and have set up the same tool for other sites on other servers hoping to find some correlations.
Well, I was told that the server did not go down and that the techs are monitoring it 24/7 but I have a pingdom report that shows a 30 minute outage.
I don’t want to put down jodohost in any way because they have been great and I’ve been a loyal customer for about 4 years and I will continue to be. I’ve seen worser outages and they worked professionally to get the network/servers up.
These outages are just annoying, especially when the customer calls me the moment they can’t access it and I’m lost for words waiting for a response for my ticket.
I hope jodohost can some how resolve what ever the issue might be so we don’t see these outages.
Well, I am not trying to put them down by any means, if i did i will just find another host. I’ve been with jodohost for almost the same time as you with multiple accounts and i referred friends to them.
My other site hosted by Jodo does not go down as much or at least this what i think since that site does not make as much money as the other site so i do not check it.
I think posting these problems on this forum might get more attention than sending tickets (which i sent quite a few for this problem) and hopefully getting the problem which will be a win-win situation for the customers and jodo.
I’m monitoring win19, 21, 23 and its only win21 that gives the most trouble.
I think its just our luck that we ended up hosting a site on this server. I hope it gets resolved soon and all I can do is provide all the information that I gather and notify the tech as soon as I see it go down.
The server has been very slow in the last 24 hours or so, even i opened a ticket and told it is fine now it is still slow and i had a customer call me since the site timed out on her in the middle of placing an order!!!
I hope a long lasting solution can be found for this problem.
we are continue monitoring all the small change on that server thats make the difference in the uploading sites.
and now all up and working fine.and we also working to make that permanent.
and the server up time is too fine.
I am getting very tired and frustrated with this server, yes it is not down but it keeps timing out on the middle of loading a page or it takes for ever to load.
This the message i just got:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded.
The last 2 days has been the worst in a few weeks, i opened a ticket and all i got back is “kindly check it now, your website is loading in less than 12 seconds”.
The server should be monitored by jodo not by me, if i was a way and not able to check what would happen?
