Horde on new cluster

I was just trying out Horde on the new cluster and noticed there is no "options" button. Are we going to be able to mofigy our options in this web-based email system?
 
You can use SQWebMail as well (http://mail.yourdomainname.com)

Don't know what options you are looking for. There is a blacklist feature (can be pretty useful when someone is spamming you). There are some add-ons for it like an address book. I'll see if I can have them installed
 
Horde is a nice webmail package. I'd like to use it.

In all the Horde mail setups I've used I have had an "options" button to configure various options of the app. I'll attach a picture of a Horde mail screen from another vendor as an example of the Options that are available. I thought all this was a standard feature.

The standard options allow you to have different identities. So you can send email messages from different "from" addresses. This is handy.

Also, I don't know if Horde will do this but I would love to have the ability for it to go out to other IMAP and POP3 servers and retrieve email for me. This combined with the ability to send mail with different "from" addresses allows you to centralize all of your email accounts into one location.

Yash, have you looked into adding these options. Being able to configure the email so your name displays as the from address instead of just your email address will look much nicer.

Also, can you remove the tag line at the bottom of all email messages that are sent?

I don't find Horde to be any better than SQWeb without these extra addons with one exception, I think that it looks nicer and there is the filtering etc.

I was really hoping for a mail package for my clients that don't use email programs.

I really hope we can get these extra features added on.

I'm sorry we had an extremely busy day yesterday and this was pushed back on our to-do list. We will be doing it today. We will upgrade to the latest version and install the various addons available

I was checking out Horde and the only way to access the address book is by going through the action of composing a message. Then when I click on the address book it doesn't work.

Do we not get the ability to use the address book?? If not, that is too bad. Maybe with the new add-ons? How is that coming btw?

Thanks Yash...I know you guys are busy but we have been waiting for this since the summer.
 
Just an update ..

We tried updating Horde and it was problematic. Something to do with their application framework. give us another day or two on this and we'll fix it

...just wondering if this was still going to happen, or are the problems bigger than you thought?
 
oops.. I'm so sorry.
I had asked our unix administrator to do this about a week ago. Will have a chat with him tomorrow morning and ensure it is done

I checked the version of horde and is has been upgraded to the latest. He just hasn't installed the add-ons

my memory is so short these days. :(

Could someone open a ticket asking that the addons are installed on Horde. Our unix admininistrator will see this first thing when he logs on tomorrow morning then.
