Try using "localhost" as the server

Yes it should be an alias to the master portal domain I beleive. Then jsut create your new portal with the child domain and all should be fine.

Ok thanks. I would assume that would require us purchasing a seperate exchange license as it probably isn't part of the Windows VPS plan. I'd laso suspect that the memory limits may be an issue.

We have a potential client looking for MS Exchange as part of their hosting. Does Jodohost provide this in any of their various plans? What about in VPS?

I guess it is probably best/easiest then to just run Plesk and have all the services on the single box. I assume if we run mail on another server it would be an additional charge and not included in the VPS package price correct? Are you using the latest 7.6 version of Plesk or still 7.5...

So the max listed is the total that will be usable at all times correct? Any guidelines/general sense for how many asp.net applciations the 640 package would be able to support and how performance would compare to a shared host?

How have those using Win VPS found the ram limits when using asp.net IIS applciations? Just wondering if 640 is sufficient for runnign multiple IIS sites most of which are ASP.NET 1.1 and 2.0?

Starting to hear that the problem may be more widespread - "Actually, this seems to be a major widespread issue... Savvis, Telia, Hurricane Electric & Level3 are ALL having problems"

Also heard this from another user that admins servers in the NY area - "there is a routing issue with Telia and Savvis in NY" which has apparently been since corrected or being worked on.

Forced a new IP from my ISP and now it is fine but others on ISP having simialr issues and som not. Looks like they have some IP blocks messed up or perhaps being blocked.

Still the same issue. Not sure what I can do or try other than to wait it out.

I can't seem to find anythign either but cannot connect to CNN, Engadget, Internetpulse, just to name a few big sites. Very odd..

Yes using a proxy to get here, cannot connect directly. Some sites are fine but other portions of the net are totally dead it seems. I don't see any reported outages but this seems lik a big one. Was fine probably 15 mins or so ago, was on our site then all of a sudden it just died.
